The ever-popular Adeje Tapas route, part of the Degusta.Me gastronomy month in the municipality, finishes this weekend with 15 different establishments taking part for you to try.
A new addition this year is the free Tapas Train route along the streets in the main Adeje commercial zone, which makes six stops along way, between 6pm and 9pm each evening, making it even easier than ever for you to take part and try some of the amazing food on offer.
The six stops made by the train are:
1 Municipal football stadium
2 El Galeón: Avenida Rosa de los Vientos nº 12.
3 Los Olivos chuirch: Avenida de la Constitución nº 61 .
4 La Viña: Avenida Viera y Clavijo nº 1 and nº 3.
5 Adeje Cultural Centre: Calle Hermano Pedro.
6 Adeje Health Centre: Calle Manuel Bello Ramos nº 52.
The initiative is part of the wider gastronomy programme, organised by the Adeje department of economic activity under councillor Mercedes Vargas Delgado, and the department of economic development and employment, under Alberto Álvarez Jiménez.
The aim is to enjoy that special tapa to conquer the most discerning of palates and win your vote as the best ‘Tapa Especial a la Tapa Profesional 2023’, and then gold, silver, and bronze medals for the participating cafes and restaurants.
Todo this you are invited to come and taste this year’s tapas for only 3€ (4€ with a drink), vote for your favourite, and participate in some of the great raffles prizes including stays 5*, 4* and 3* hotels amongst others.
As in previous years there are prizes for both participating tapas and the public, including stays in 3, 4, and 5-star hotels.
