Five injured, one seriously, in two-car collision in south Tenerife

Five people have sustained injuries, one seriously, following a head-on collision between two cars on the TF-64 in Granadilla de Abona, in the south of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).

The incident occurred just before 7:00am this morning (Sunday), and the injured parties were admitted to the HUC Hospital, Hospiten Sur, and Costa Adeje Hospital.

Among the injured are a woman with severe injuries, another with moderate facial and knee injuries, a 23-year-old male with a knee injury, a 42-year-old man with a head injury, and a 27-year-old woman with moderate cuts and bruises.

Emergency personnel from the Tenerife Fire Brigade were on the scene, securing the involved vehicles and extracting two occupants who were trapped inside the cars.

Medical personnel attended to the five injured people, while the Guardia Civil conducted the corresponding investigation.
