Five injured in a multiple accident on the TF-1

Five people were injured last night (Saturday) in a multiple accident on the TF-1 by Radazul on the northbound lane in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Due to the impact of the collision, one of the cars ended up on its roof.

According to the incident report from CECOES (the Emergency Services Coordination Centre, firefighters were first on the scene and confirmed that all occupants were out of their cars safely, so carried out preventive measures on the vehicles to make them safe, including disconnecting the batteries.

Medical staff were not far behind and treated a 55-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman, for cuts and bruises, a 52-year-old man for whiplash, and two 52-year-old and 55-year-old men who were suffering from anxiety

All of them were transferred by ambulances hospital for further treatment, except for one of the 55-year-olds, who refused the transfer.

The Guardia Civil instructed the corresponding proceedings while the Highway Service cleared the road with minimal effect on other drivers.
