Firefighters rescue child trapped inside a car at a shopping centre in Lanzarote
Emergency services were called to a shopping centre in Lanzarote yesterday (Saturday), after a young child became trapped inside a car in the Open Mall car park.
Fire crews quickly arrived at the scene and found the child’s mother waiting nearby while the youngster remained calm inside the vehicle.
Using specialised equipment, firefighters carefully opened the car door without causing any damage. Once the vehicle was unlocked, the child was safely reunited with his mother.
Medical personnel checked that the child was in good health and confirmed there were no medical issues.
After ensuring everything was in order, the emergency services concluded the operation.
