A 32-year-old woman has been injured after she rolled her van on the TF-1 motorway this morning (Monday) before it came to a standstill on a bank in the municipality of Arafo in Tenerife, according to the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The accident occurred at around 9:30am this morning by kilometre 20 on the TF-1 motorway when CECOES received an urgent 112 call informing them the driver needed medical assistance.
They immediately dispatched the Fire Brigade, the Guardia Civil from the Insular Highway Centre, and two ambulances straight to the scene of the accident, where medical personnel assisted the woman, who had head injuries and various cuts and bruises.
After securing the vehicle, the police dealt with the traffic on the highway, and the woman was taken by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital for further treatment.
According to the report, no other vehicles were involved and no one else was injured in the incident.
