From this Monday (December 19th) until Boxing Day (26th), Las Galletas will have its own ice skating rink at the Plaza Paulino Suances, next to the school, which is free for children as part of Arona’s campaign to support local businesses this Christmas.
The rink is inside a marquee and has a capacity for more than 40 skaters at a time in 10-minute shifts, and provides all the necessary equipment for the kids, with skates, a sled, a penguin, and a polar bear to help keep their balance.
To use it, all you have to do is show a shopping receipt of more than 20 euros (not per child, but per family), from one of the local shops in the municipality, which doesn’t include commercial centres or bars and restaurants, and you can use it for free.
As you can see on the poster, it is open every day, except Christmas Day starting this Monday at 5pm, so it’s time to get your skates on!
