Elderly woman Injured after being hit by a car in the south of Tenerife
A 71-year-old woman has been injured after being hit by a car on Tuesday morning in the south of Tenerife.
The incident took place at approximately 10:50am while she was walking along Avenida de Santa Cruz in San Isidro, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, according to reports from the emergency services.
The woman suffered a “moderate” head injury and was treated at the scene by SUC medical personnel before being transported by ambulance to the San Isidro Health Centre for further care.
The Local Police were on site to take charge of the official report and begin an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
