A British tourist is critical in hospital in Tenerife where he is fighting for his life in intensive care, following a brutal assault on Sunday night (April 30th) in the Veronicas area of Playa de Las Americas in the south of Tenerife.
According to reports, the unnamed man in his early 30s got into an altercation with the three men following a heavy drinking session and ended up being knocked over by one of them with a single punch which rendered him unconscious, but he fractured his skull when he hit the floor which led to internal bleeding.
Paramedics treated him at the scene and then transferred him to the HUC Hospital for emergency treatment where he has been admitted to intensive care.
The National Police have reportedly arrested three British men over the incident but have not yet released any information while the investigation is ongoing. They are believed to have been released, however, that could easily change if the man doesn’t survive.
