As Easter approaches, Binter is making it easier for domestic travellers by adding 114 extra flights throughout the Canary Islands. This means 9,494 more seats for those looking to get around during the holiday rush.
The airline is pulling out all the stops to ensure everyone can reach their destination comfortably and efficiently at one of the most important times of year in the Spanish calendar.
From April 10th to 21st, Binter will offer 2,720 flights, providing a total of 201,630 seats. The busiest days will be April 16th (Holy Wednesday), with 34 extra flights, and April 11th, 12th, and 21st, each with 14 additional flights. Key routes such as Lanzarote to Tenerife North and Gran Canaria to La Palma, will see a big boost making island hopping a breeze.
Binter is also celebrating its 36th birthday yesterday (26th March), and they were in a giving mood. Passengers flying on this special day received a little gift, reminding them why flying "ModoCanary" is so special. Since 1989, Binter has flown more than 88 million passengers, connecting the islands and beyond.
After being acquired by local entrepreneurs in 2002, Binter's growth has been sky-high. Now part of a network of 17 companies, it employs over 2,500 people, offering top-notch service and economic benefits to the region.
Currently, Binter operates across all Canarian airports and 28 destinations outside the islands, including 18 in Spain and 10 international locations. The airline is set to expand further, adding Valencia, Almería, Córdoba, and Badajoz to its list of destinations shortly.
