Beachfront hotel in Fuerteventura sold for €51 million
A prominent beachfront hotel in Fuerteventura has been sold for €51 million, underlining continued strong investor interest in the Canary Islands’ tourism sector. Atom Hoteles has confirmed the sale of the Eurostars Las Salinas hotel, located in Caleta de Fuste, although the identity of the buyer has not been disclosed.
The four-star hotel, originally designed as a five-star property, features 223 accommodation units, including rooms, suites and villas. It sits in a prime seafront position on Playa del Castillo, one of the island’s key tourist areas.
Prime Location and Extensive Facilities
The complex offers a wide range of facilities aimed at holidaymakers and families. These include restaurants and bars, a tennis court, sports areas, a children’s playground and large leisure spaces.
A notable feature is its seafront shopping arcade, which includes 20 retail units along the promenade, adding to the hotel’s appeal as a mixed-use tourist destination.
Strong Demand for Canary Islands Investments
Atom Hoteles stated that the sale highlights ongoing demand for assets within its portfolio, following several recent disposals, and reflects the continued attractiveness of Canary Islands hotels to investors.
According to Colliers’ Spain Hotel Investment Report 2025, the Canary Islands accounted for 24% of total hotel investment in Spain last year, with €1.04 billion invested across 17 transactions.
Following this latest sale, Atom Hoteles now holds a portfolio of 21 hotels, totalling 5,265 rooms. The company continues to focus on higher-category complexes in key tourist and city destinations across Spain.
Several of Atom’s properties, including Eurostars Las Salinas, have been operated in recent years by the Hotusa Group.
