Another fight on a flight to Tenerife, this time from Manchester

Air traffic controllers have reported the third incident on a plane to Tenerife this month after crew on a Ryanair flight from Manchester requested police assistance upon landing due to a problem on board.

Flight FR1249 was given priority to land with the National Police waiting on the runway to board it because of a fight between two "conflicting" passengers.

In their tweet, air traffic controllers added: "All our support to the crew members who must face this type of situation", as it seems these incidents are becoming more common every day, especially from the UK.

As is the protocol in these situations, the National Police boarded the plane before anyone was allowed to disembark to detain the guilty parties who were taken for questioning. They will either be fined, jailed, or more likely, deported back to the UK within 24 hours in the same way as the 12 disruptive passengers on the easyJet flight from Liverpool to Tenerife on Saturday.

These incidents are happening at a time when the debate on tourism is at the forefront in the Canary Islands, and when the number of incidents has increased.
