The Guardia Civil is investigating a female worker from a company based at Tenerife South airport after she was accused of stealing 855 euros from the company safe.
According to the police report issued today (Wednesday), she is a 32-year-old woman who lives in Granadilla de Abona near to the airport and is accused of stealing cash from the safe on two different occasions, totalling 855 euros divided into banknotes of different value.
After being made aware of the accusation through a denuncia filed by the company against her, Guardia Civil agents began an investigation and obtained sufficient evidence to confirm her as the alleged perpetrator of the thefts, in addition to recovering the stolen cash.
The woman has now been charged and the case has been passed over to the Courts in Granadilla de Abona by the Analysis and Investigation Unit of the Fiscal and Border Section (UDAIFF) based at Reina Sofia airport.
