Three Tenerife hotels are among nine in Spain that have been nominated for the Conde Nast Johansens 2023 Awards for Excellence, which are awarded to the top hotels in the luxury travel market. With more than 38 years of experience in the inspection and recommendation of international resorts, the guide takes variables into account such as luxury, exclusivity, services, and facilities.
This year the ceremony and gala dinner, when the winners will be announced for the UK and European shortlisted properties, will take place at the Kimpton Fitzroy hotel in London on 7th November after voting has closed on 24th October.
Spain has nine hotels nominated for the Awards for Excellence in Europe in the following categories: best new or recently renovated hotel, best service, best restaurant experience, best urban hotel, the best hotel with spa, best spa destination, and best country hotel.
Most of the nine nominated hotels are located on Spanish islands, with 3 in Tenerife and 2 in Mallorca, plus one each in Asturias, Cádiz, Castilla y León, and Madrid.
In Tenerife, the three hotels nominated are the Royal Hideaway Corales Resort in La Caleta in Costa Adeje, the Bahía del Duque in Costa Adeje, and the Hotel Botánico Oriental Spa Garden in Puerto de La Cruz.
